Christmas always comes round so fast but one of my favourite things about it is Mulled Wine!
My mum recently told me that she used half the last batch of our Island Sorrel to put it into her mulled wine. Needless to say it was unanimously delicious by all who tasted it. Usually in Jamaica we add white rum to our Sorrel but this is a great new twist and best of all its the simplest recipe to follow.

Rooibos is a very nutirent rich plant and due to its antioxidants is said to bring about many health benefits. Today we are going to be focusing on the benefits to skin. The antioxidants in rooibos can help to potect the skin from UV damage and pollution. The antiinflammatory properties help to sooth the skin, acne and scars.
It is Bereaved Parents Month and we are wanting to help raise awareness for Baby Loss and help to support parents going through premature birth. A close friend of mine went through this terrible experience 5 years ago and decided to set up a site to help support other parents going through similar experiences. It is called Griogair’s Way after their son who sadly passed away after a premature birth. Mentally, emotionally and physically this is a hard thing to go through and If you know anyone going through a similar experience who could use some support please spread the word. There are a-lot of tips and advice on there and will be updated as time goes on.
